From tenant report to resolved repair

Keep the original report, the vendor, and the close note on the same unit — so a repair does not become a chat thread.

One board, one unit

A report should land on the unit it belongs to. New, in progress, resolved. That is enough status for a small portfolio.

Do not lose the first sentence

The tenant’s original words matter later. If you rewrite the job as you assign it, keep the report attached. Vendors change. The leak does not.

Close means closed

Resolved is a date and a note, not a disappearing card. If the same issue returns, you want the last close — not a memory of a WhatsApp thread.
