Connecting a bank is not a prerequisite. Manual entries stay visible as entered, estimated or missing — so a balance can be explained without a hidden import.

This site is rentals.databoardapp.com. Accounts and data live in the app at rent.databoardapp.com. They are not the same login as Data Board.
