Record a mortgage payment
Enter the payment date, cash out, interest, principal and remaining balance so the loan stays explainable.
Have the payment you sent and, if it has arrived, the lender statement. You need the total paid and a split into interest and principal.

Open Finance
Open the property loan you already added. If the loan is missing, add it first.
Record the payment
Enter the date the cash left, the total paid, the interest portion, the principal portion, and the remaining balance after the payment.
Keep the source visible
If a number is estimated, say so. A tidy automatic-looking balance you cannot explain is worse than a line you typed.
If the balance does not match
Do not force the remaining balance to a number you like. Re-read the statement, check the last payment split, then reconcile.
